Ansel Adams

I choose to do my Historic PowerPoint presentation on Ansel Adams for the simple reason as his love for nature. I love being outside being one with nature and taking pictures of nature. I prefer to take pictures of nature and architecture more than boring people. I really wish the commissioned project for the federal government could have been finished after WWII. I believe we would have been astonished by the magnitude of the completed project. The black and white pictures really capture the moment, but could you imagine what the pictures would look like in color! This man is amazing.

Unit 3 Indoor Picture

This is my original picture taken last week in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the San Cristobal Fort. It was taken in the sleeping quarter. As you can see the light was very bright coming in the window, which drowned my beautiful wife out.

Here is the picture I seen in my eyes. Color of the old shutters, the pink in my wife's shirt, and the green in her hand bag. The walls in the old fort are actually the original color also. The sunlight is also shining in so nicely that is accentuates her body.

Name Assignment

Here is my name in objects. The "B" is a Tonka truck. The "R" is my neighbors wheel barrow next to his house. the "A" is my children's play set. Finally the "D" is my sun room door with the glass blacked out with the help of Photoshop. I was looking out the window a few days ago and seen the play set. It looked like an "A" so that is what got the ball rolling. This project was quite time consuming, but learned a lot about photo editing.

Unit 1: Crop

I have taken the awesome picture of the bridge, with a little help from Picasa, and cropped the two trees out from the edges and used some color alterations to make the picture more beautiful.

Unit 1: Darker or Lighter

Using Picasa I have altered the image to reflect what was actually taken. To do this I altered the Fill light very heavily. After adjusting that I then adjusted the Highlight and color template very little to achieve the look I wanted.
